COR/SECOR AUDITING:
Our Safety Professionals have extensive experience in performing audits of Health and Safety Management systems. To achieve a COR, the employer’s Health and Safety Management System must be reviewed through an audit. Once initial certification is received, maintenance audits must be performed during the two interim years and a re-certification audit during the third year. Audits are conducted by certified auditors using the audit instrument for the applicable certifying partner which cover the basic elements of a Health and Safety Management System. To pass the audit, the overall score must reach 80% or greater, and no less than 50% in any one element.
COR
For organizations operating with more than 10 employees. The audit consists of documentation review, site observations and employee interviews.
COR Certification: the initial external audit conducted by a consultant auditor required to achieve COR.
COR Maintenance: an internal audit conducted during the two interim years before re-certification is required.
COR Re-Certification: an external audit conducted by a consultant auditor during the third year of the COR cycle to re-certify the employer’s COR.
SECOR
For organizations operating with 10 or less employees. The audit, or “SECOR Evaluation”, consists solely of documentation review.
SECOR Certification: the initial evaluation conducted to receive SECOR for employer’s operating with 10 or less employees (evaluator reviews directive and operational documentation).
SECOR Maintenance: an evaluation conducted during the two interim years before re-certification is required (evaluator reviews operational documentation).
SECOR Re-Certification: an evaluation conducted during the third year of the SECOR cycle to re-certify the employer’s SECOR (evaluator reviews directive and operational documentation).

A Gap Analysis is an assessment of your current Health and Safety Management System to identify areas which need improvement in order to be COR/SECOR-ready. Following the Gap Analysis, Keen Health will develop a final audit report and action plan based on the findings and can provide assistance in executing the corrective actions.
